Back on the Trail: A New Season for The Backcountry Padre

After some time away, The Backcountry Padre is returning with a renewed sense of purpose! This site has always stayed close to my heart, but ministerial responsibilities and the seasons of life led me away from here for a bit.

This summer brought two very different journeys: one through Colorado and Wyoming, and another on a 2,800 mile roadtrip from Florida to the Midwest and back again, by way of the Smoky Mountains.

Along the way came moments of prayer, family history, unexpected discoveries, and renewed reflection on vocation and the paths that God places before us all.

In the weeks ahead, I hope to begin sharing those stories here through videos, photographs, and written reflections.
